You can't simply send your goods to another country of the world, there's documentation and procedures involved and filling out the correct forms can get extremely difficult. Our Tradex platform bridges the gap to seamlessly process orders from ERP solutions to customs and other authorities, saving exporters many hours in the process.

Many business applications for Manufacturing, R&D, Finance, Warehousing and Logistics do not have an Export compliance function or it is often forgotten during procurement. Since wrong export documentation can result in costly fines, other penalties and goods stopped in overseas ports, having the correct documentation is essential.

Tradex is a unique low-cost solution designed to be easily integrated into any exporting business requirement. It primarily works to the UN aligned format for Commercial Export Invoice, Packing List, Export Cargo Shipping Instructions and Shipping Notes (including for Hazardous Exports). This format is widely supported by Chambers of Commerce, customs and port authorities as well as a number of banks, to name a few. By producing UN export forms, your documentation procedures will be cheaper and a lot easier, whilst minimizing errors. Tradex rationalizes and reduces the information content by aligning them into a particular design, so that the necessary information always goes in the right place.

Tradex has many timesaving features to help avoid duplication and unnecessary errors. Often exporters are stuck for time, and rush completing their export documentation. Orders can be easily imported from popular ERP platforms such as Sage, SAP and Microsoft Dynamics for completion of customs and shipping information, without the need for double entry.

For example, the company's ERPs system may not hold the commodity code, shipping date/ vessel number or delivery contract term. Often the value required on the invoice for export is different to that on the customer order. To get around this export coordinators are forced to make their own template in Word or Excel and rekey all details of the order several times for the various documents. This invariably leads to errors and is very time consuming. Additionally, Importers (the buyers) may require specific information to apply for an import license and preregistration of imports into their own country prior to shipment. Tradex will facilitate this in a timely manner.

Lee Darvill, Company Director of Bulmer & Lumb, commented: "I am relatively new to Tradex as our shipping manager recently left the company and left me with the extra burden of documentation. Bulmer & Lumb have been using the Tradex system now for several years and I personally with no training find it very simple to navigate round and use. On the odd occasion I have had to contact Tate Freight forms, the guidance I have received has been excellent. I would highly recommend this company and the package they offer for export documentation."
